• Database connection details: Server addresses, port numbers, usernames, and database names that you save within the app. Passwords are encrypted before storage.
• Usage data: Number of servers connected, queries executed, and app activity for subscription plan enforcement.
• Purchase information: In-app purchase records (plan upgrades) processed through Google Play or Apple App Store.
• Device information: Device type and operating system version for compatibility and crash reporting.
• Push notification tokens: FCM tokens to deliver account and billing notifications.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the database management service.
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• Sync your saved database connections across your devices.
• Process in-app purchases and manage subscription plans.
• Send transactional emails (OTP verification, invoices).
• Send push notifications for account and billing updates.
• Display relevant advertisements (free plan only) via Google AdMob.
• Improve the app based on usage patterns.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore). Database passwords and sensitive connection credentials are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before being stored — we cannot read your database passwords.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), server-side security rules, and access controls to protect your personal information.

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

6. Advertising

Free plan users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve personalised ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your device settings (Android: Google Settings → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Advertising).

Pro and Elite subscribers do not see advertisements.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and saved connections will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Purchase records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

Sars DB Management is a professional database management tool intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Export your saved connection configurations.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
